ISO14001 accreditation assists MVM in providing assurance to their customers that not only are they meeting their compliance obligations, but they are also looking to the future and planning action to constantly achieve continuous improvement.
WM Environmental were brought on board to assist Mataura Valley Milk meet their Environmental Obligations as soon as construction on the Greenfield Site started. Starting with a blank canvas we developed and implemented an entire environmental management framework. This encompassed everything from compliance sampling procedures and schedules, risk analysis and required controls through to liaison and reporting to regulatory bodies. As the Site commenced operations and the Environmental Management Framework became embedded in Business as Usual activities, Mataura Valley Milk made the decision to take it one step further and obtain ISO14001 Accreditation. WM Environmental led this project and over a one-year period, comprised of Stage 1 and Stage 2 External Audits, the ISO14001 Accreditation was obtained.
